Bryant downs Mount St. Mary's, 6-1

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Bryant University women's tennis team opened up Northeast Conference play with a 6-1 victory over Mount St. Mary's on Sunday afternoon at Fore Court in Cumberland. 

How it Happened

• Bryant claimed the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 3. 
• Ada Boru and Leanne Kendall won 6-3, while Olivia Rondini and Caitlyn Munson clinched 6-3.
• In singles, Bryant closed the match with victories at each of the final five singles matches.
• Four of the five won in straight sets, while Munson rallied from a set down to win at No. 4.
