Bryant downs FDU, Fairfield over the weekend

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Bryant University women's tennis team posted a pair of victories over the weekend, downing Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday and Fairfield on Sunday.

The Bulldogs have now won three-straight matches.  

How it Happened (FDU)

• Bryant won the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3.
• Olivia Rondini and Caitlyn Munson won at No. 3 and Ada Boru and Leanne Kendall closed it at No. 1 with a thrilling 7-5 victory.
• Bryant won at No. 1, No. 3, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 to close the match. 
• Kendall, Munson and Baeza all won in three sets, while Rondini won in a third set. 

How it Happened (FFD)

• Bryant quickly clinched the doubles point with 6-2 victories at No. 1 and No. 2.
• Fairfield was able to win at No. 1 and No. 2 but Bryant rebounded to win at 3, 4 and 5 to clinch the match.
• Kendall, Munson and Baeza all won in straight sets.
