Bryant sweeps PC to open spring season
CUMBERLAND, R.I. -- The Bryant University women's tennis team opened its spring season with a convincing 7-0 victory over Providence College on Sunday at ForeCourt.
Bryant won all three doubles matches and all six singles matches.
How it Happened
- The duos of Manuela Gomez Estrada/Camila Baeza and Sarah Hickey/Natalia Vela won 6-1 and 6-0, respectively.
- Olivia Rondini and Caitlyn Munson were able to grab a 7-6 (8-6) victory at No. 2.
- Hickey, Munson, Lisa Marie Dugec and Baeza earned straight-set wins at No. 1, No. 3, No. 5 and No. 6.
- Vela bounced back from down a set to win in three at No. 2, while Rondini closed out a three-set victory at No. 4.
