Bryant downs URI, 4-1, on Thursday
SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Bryant University women's tennis team picked up a big 4-1 victory over Rhode Island on Thursday afternoon at the Bryant Tennis Courts.
The win is Bryant's first over URI during spring competition in program history.
How it Happened
- The Rams started strong, winning 6-2 at No. 3 and 6-4 at No. 1 to win the doubles point.
- Bryant rebounded in singles, winning four-straight matches to clinch.
- Natalia Vela won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 2, Caitlyn Munson won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3, Olivia Rondini won 6-4, 1-6, 6-0 at No. 4 and Camila Baeza earned a 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 5.
