Bulldogs fall to Portland on Sunday

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Bryant University women's tennis team fell to Portland, 7-0, on Sunday afternoon.

How it Happened

  • Portland grabbed the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 2.
  • At No. 2, the Pilots clinched the point with a 7-6 (6) victory.
  • Bryant opened doubles play with a victory at No. 3. Majo Hernandez Diaz and Yahli Noy earned a 6-4 win.
  • In singles, Natalia Vela battled in a three-set loss at the top spot.
