Bryant picks up first win, downs Monmouth on Sunday
CUMBERLAND, R.I. -- The Bryant University women's tennis team picked up its first win of the semester, defeating Monmouth 6-1 on Sunday afternoon at Fore Court.
How it Happened
- Bryant picked up its second-straight sweep of doubles play, winning 6-3, 6-2 and 6-4.
- In singles, Natalia Vela clinched the match with a three-set victory at No. 1, 6-3, 6-7 (3), 6-2.
- Aurora Pedwell, Maria Jose Hernandez Diaz, Caitlyn Munson and Lisa Marie Dugec all won in straight sets for the Bulldogs.
