Bryant earns 4-3 win over Stony Brook on Friday

CUMBERLAND, R.I. -- The Bryant University women's tennis team earned its third-straight victory, defeating Stony Brook 4-3 on Friday at Fore Court.

How it Happened

  • Yahli Noy and Maria Jose Hernandez Diaz opened doubles play with a 6-1 win at No. 3.
  • Stony Brook would even it with a 7-6 (8-6) victory at No. 2 but Natalia Vela and Caitlyn Munson were able to clinch the point with a 6-2 win at No. 1.
  • In singles, three matches went to three sets. Stony Brook was able to win at No. 4 and No. 5 in three sets. The Seawolves claimed their third point at No. 1 singles.
  • Noy and Aurora Pedwell picked up victories for Bryant, while Lisa Marie Dugec clinched her second-straight match with a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 6.0
