One of Bryant's top back row players, Gardner is poised to take her game to the next level in 2009 if she continues to utilize her elite passing skills and unmatched court awareness. 

In the record books: Gardner holds a spot in a number of career and single-season records entering her senior season... SINGLE-SEASON: ninth in digs per set (4.07, 2009); tied for 16th in total digs (513, 2009); 20th in serve percentage (.926, 2009)... CAREER: 11th in serve percentage (.890); 18th in digs (917).

As a junior: Led the Bulldogs with 513 digs as the team's starting libero... POsted a .910 reception percentage with just 83 errors in 922 total attempts... Appeared in all 34 matches and all 126 sets throughout the 2009 season... Served up 28 aces, good for third on the team... Recorded a career-high 33-dig performance to lead Bryant to a 3-0 win over Coppin State on Sept. 27, also recording a .957 reception percentage in the match... Her 33 digs are good for 16th in single-match program history... Posted double-digit digs in 25-of-34 matches on the year with seven 20+ dig performances and a pair of 30+ dig outings... Earned an All-Independent Defensive Player of the Week selection for the week of Sept. 28... Named to the All-Independent Second Team... Selected to the Northeast Conference Academic Honor Roll and the All-Indendent All-Academic Team.

As a sophomore: Appeared in all 35 matches for the Bulldogs, playing in 113 sets... Recorded 20 assists to go along with 13 service aces and 133 digs... Earned an NEC Academic Honor Roll selection.

As a freshman: Played in 155 sets as a freshman, recording 271 digs and 33 assists.

Before Bryant: A 2007 graduate of Lake Brantley High School, Gardner was a four-year letterwinner in volleyball... Three-year starting libero for coach Carlos Pizarro... Team went 22-3 in 2006, winning the district championship and reaching the second round of regionals... Named Orlando Sentinel Player of Week... First Team All-Seminole Conference selection...
