Lorenzo has an opportunity to take over a team that is highly motivated with a challenging schedule ahead. But she will enter the program with something to prove given Bryant's rich tradition of strong setters.

In the record books: After just a single season, Lorenzo already ranks 17th on the all-time career assists list (206)... Also ranks 12th in the single-season record books with her .946 serve percentage in 2009.

As a freshman: Recorded 31 kills and 206 assists on the year despite missing the first half of the season... Appeared in 18 matches, starting in eight... Added 31 kills and 22 aces with 127 digs and 16 blocks (1s, 15a)... Recorded double-doubles in three-straight contests from Nov. 1-Nov. 8... Fell just two kills shy of a triple-double against FDU on Nov. 8, collecting a career-high 43 assists, 15 digs and eight kills... Posted career-best 17 digs vs. Robert Morris on Nov. 1... Served up five aces at FDU on Oct. 24... Collected four double-digit digs performances and eight double-digit assist outings, recording 20+ assists five times and 30+ three times... Earned an All-Independent Player of the Week accolade for the week of Nov. 10... Posted a .946 serve percentage, good for 12th in the single-season Bryant record books.

Before Bryant: A 2009 graduate of Lawrence International High School, Lorenzo was a four-year varsity letterwinner and three-year starting setter for the Lancers... Was named the 2008 Merrimack Valley All-Conference Volleyball Player of the Year and 2008 Eagle Tribune Player of the Year as a senior...  Selected by the Boston Globe in 2007  and 2008 for the All-Scholastic Award... Three-time all-state selection... Four-year Team MVP... Earned Boston Herald All-Scholastic Award winner as a junior and senior... Three-time Eagle Tribune All-Star... Two-time MVC All-Conference selection... Also lettered in basketball as a freshman and track as a senior... Played club for Latitude 42... Four-year honor roll student.

Personal: Daughter of Jose and Maria Trigueros, Jadith DelCarmen Lorenzo was born on January 19, 1992 in the Dominican Republic... Plans to study international business with a concentration in finance in the College of Business.
