Three from Volleyball recognized with year-end awards

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Senior Jana Kmec (Stratford, Conn.) and juniors Debora Magalhaes (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) and Taylor Onoyan (Crystal Lake, Ill.) of the Bryant University volleyball team were recognized on Tuesday night at the Bryant University Athletics Award Banquet.

Kmec was named the William T. O'Hara Award winner, Magalhaes took home the Strength and Conditioning Award and Onoyan was named the Bulldog Award winner for volleyball. In addition, the volleyball team took home the Academic Excellence Award for the first time with a team GPA of 3.52, while 88 percent of the team made the NEC Academic Honor Roll.
