Volleyball drops season opener to UTA on Friday
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. – Junior Aubrey Lapour (Blue Springs, Mo.) and Sophomore Arianna Ugolini (Bologna, Italy) each posted double-digit kills but UT Arlington won the final two sets to defeat the Bryant University volleyball team, 3-1, on Friday night in Colorado Springs, CO.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Set 1 – UTA opened up early against the Bulldogs however Bryant found their way into the match late. UTA would eventually pull ahead and win 25-22

Set 2 – Bryant bounced back in the second set and held off a UTA rally to win 25-22

Set 3 – UTA regained momentum in the third set and would hold the Bulldogs to 18 points.

Set 4 – UTA continued their previous round's dominance and would win the match following an attack error by Aubrey Lapour. Final score 25-18.
