Bulldogs sweep Highlanders to Open Homecoming Weekend
SMITHFIELD, R.I.– The Bryant women's volleyball team swept NJIT on Friday night to open up Homecoming Weekend. The Bulldogs now have a record of 13-9 and improve to .500 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED (vs NJIT)

Set 1- The Bulldogs got off to a good start vs NJIT and held an early seven point advantage. Late kills from Morgan Smith and Arianna Ugolini would help close out the set and see Bryant win 25-18. Aubrey Lapour, Arianna Ugolini, and Morgan Smith all had 4 kills in the 1st. Carolina Camacho also had 7 assists.

Set 2- The Highlanders found their tempo in the second set and played competitively. However Bryant always seemed to have the momentum. An additional 7 kills from Smith would power Bryant past NJIT to win 25-20. Smith finished the set hitting a remarkable .875 and also had 2 service aces.

Set 3- In the final set Bryant upped the intensity and dominated throughout. 6 different players recorded kills for the Black and Gold and the duo of London Hunt and Brookelyn Talamdge combined for 4 blocks. Bryant would win the set 25-15 to complete the sweep.
