Volleyball’s Ugolini and Camacho earn weekly conference awards

BOSTON, Mass.- The Bryant women's volleyball team saw two of their players earn weekly awards from the America East Conference. Sophomore transfer Arianna Ugolini won player of the week for the second time this year while junior Carolina Camacho was named setter of the week for the first time in her career.

 

Arianna Ugolini:

Ugolini took home her second player of the week award following breakout performances against Binghamton and NJIT where she recorded career highs in kills in back-to-back games (22 vs Binghamton & 26 at NJIT). Against the Highlanders, she recorded a double-double with  26 kills, 11 digs, and a .290 hitting pct.

 

Carolina Camacho:

Camacho earned her first career America East award after recording consecutive double-doubles vs. Binghamton and NJIT. Against the Bearcats, she posted 24 assists and 12 digs. On Sunday, in Newark, she set a new career high for assists with 32 and recorded 14 digs. Camacho also had multiple kills in both games and landed a service ace vs Binghamton.
