Men's XC receives high academic marks

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's cross country team has not only been training hard on the track, but in the classroom as well, receiving a 3.31 combined GPA for the fall 2010 semester.  Leading the way for the stellar team grade point average were senior Scott Twardowski (Rehoboth, MA), who obtained a 3.92, and sophomore Colin Gannon (Litchfield, CT), who posted a 3.81.

Despite a 10th place prediction in the Northeast Conference preseason poll, the Bulldogs exceeded expectations and finished 6th overall at the 2010 NEC Championship held at Central Connecticut State University back in October.
