Bulldog XC competes in NCAA Regional Fri.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Coming off their best finishes ever at the Northeast Conference championships, the Bryant University cross country teams will compete in the NCAA Northeast Regional meet on Friday, Nov. 15 at Van Cortlandt Park in Riverdale, N.Y.

Head coach Stephanie Reilly will send five runners on both the men's and women's side to the regional meet. The men's 10K meet will begin at 11:45 a.m. and the women's 6K will follow at 1:00 p.m.

Senior Eimear Black (Glengormley, Ireland), the two-time NEC Athlete of the Year, enters Friday's meet with the opportunity to qualify for the national championship meet. Black will have to be one of the top two individual finishers from a team that does not qualify for the national meet.
