Lodge, Poholek pace Bulldogs at Rothenberg Run

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University cross country senior Melissa Lodge (Hopkinton, Mass.) paced all Bulldog runners with a 15th-place finish at the Rothenberg Run on Friday afternoon at Goddard State Park in Warwick.

Both the women and men finished fifth out of five teams on the afternoon.

"An unfamiliar and deceivingly tough course made for a tougher race day than I anticipated. I think we're fit, it's just going to be a little revamping of our training schedule to make sure we're feeling fresh next time we are on the line."
