Slaney, Hamilton Lead Bulldogs at CCSU Invite
NEW BRITAIN, Conn.- Sophomore Ryan Slaney and senior Abby Hamilton led the Bryant cross country teams at this weekend's Ted Owens Invitational in New Britain. Slaney led the men's team, placing 13th with a time of 26:38 in the 8k. Hamilton was the women's top finisher, placing 17th with a time of 19:04 in the 5k.
The Bulldog men placed fifth overall, with Nolan Hickey, Alex Petruso, Justin Shiffrin, Dawson Reynolds, Nicholas Brancato, and Evan Coyne joining Slaney as points scorers. The women placed seventh, as Hamilton, Kayla Ondy, Casey Curran, Morgan Marckres, Abigail Gilpin, Chloe Whiting, and Grace Sullivan scored points for the Bulldogs.
