FOOTBALL LENDS A HAND TO LOCAL SENIOR

North Providence senior Steve Figueroa spent the day with the Bulldog Football team as part of a senior project.

SMITHFIELD, RI - Members of the Bryant University football team took time away from their busy schedule of preparing for this Saturday's season finale at Duquesne University to assist with a local senior on a final assignment. 

Steven Figueroa, a senior at nearby North Providence High School whose only means of getting around is through his specially designed wheelchair, spent the day with members of the team as part of a final senior paper. 

Figueroa was treated to a tour of the football facilities and coaches offices and had a chance to interview several members of the team during position meetings and concluded the day attending the team's afternoon practice at the Turf Field Complex.
