Bio

As a senior: Recovered from a preseason injury to have one of the best passing seasons in program history ... Started the final nine games of the season after missing a majority of the first two games ... Completed 119-of-208 passes for 1,850 yards and 20 touchdowns and 10 interceptions ... Leaves Smithfield ranked second in passing attempts (756), completions (413), yards (5,325), touchdowns (46), passer efficiency (128.3) and touchdowns in a seasons (20) ... Set the program record for passing yards in a game against Albany on Nov. 5, completing 22-of-30 for 328 yards and three scores ... Threw a touchdown pass in each game he appeared in, including five-straight multi-TD games to close out the season ... Strung together a three-game stretch that might not be matched as he completed 56-of-79 for 855 yards and nine touchdowns against Robert Morris, Albany and Saint Francis (PA) ... Threw for 245 yards and two touchdowns vs. Wagner on Sept. 24 ... As a junior: Tied a Bryant single-game record with four touchdown passes against Merrimack in Week 3 ... Croce passed for a career-best 314 yards against Duquesne in the season finale, only three yards shy of Tony Granieri's school record 317 against Bentley in 1999 ... Croce's 25 completions against Duquesne were the third most in a single game in school history behind Granatell's record 29 at Merrimack in 2005 and Jay Graber's 26 against Monmouth in 2008 ... Croce passed for 1,780 yards in 2010, the third-best all-time behind Charlie Granatell's 1,975 in 2006 and 1,957 in 2007 ... Croce is second all-time with 3,475 career passing yards and third with 26 career passing touchdowns.

As a sophomore:Starting quarterback for all 11 games as a sophomore ... Transfer from Merrimack College who sat out the 2008 season ...
