Black & Gold Game Saturday

Bryant's Annual Spring Football Game This Saturday at 1 pm

Join us this Saturday for the annual Bryant University Black & Gold Spring Football Game.  Tenth-year coach Marty Fine and the Bulldogs will conclude the spring practice season with an intra-squad scrimmage at Bulldog Stadium starting at 1 p.m. Admission to the game is $8 and includes a BBQ post-game lunch.

Eight starters return on offense and nine starters return on defense. Leading the way will be All-American wide receiver Jordan Harris (Lincoln University, Pa.) and All-New England defensive lineman Jeff Covitz (Reading, Mass.). The Bulldogs also return a solid cast of players around those two centerpieces, including a fully healthy secondary that features Jeremy Woodson (Houston, Texas), Max Machado (Berkeley Heights, N.J.), Michael Johnson (New Market, Md.), Bobby Rutland (Bethesda, Md.), Charles Wingate (Englewood, N.J.) and Brandon Dagnesses (Miami, Fla.).

This year's schedule features seven home games starting with the season opener on Saturday, August 31 when the Crusaders of Holy Cross visit Bulldog Stadium for the first-ever matchup between the two schools at 3 p.m.  Other highlights to the home slate include another first-ever matchup with Brown University on October 12 for Homecoming & Reunion Weekend.
