Bulldogs give back

Saturday may have marked the end of spring practice for the Bryant football team, but also a time for the Bulldogs to give back to the community.  Prior to the annual Black & Gold Spring Football game at Bulldog Stadium, coach Marty Fine and the Bulldogs welcomed Seven Hills Rhode Island and Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Rhode Island to campus for a morning clinic and a day of fun with the Bulldogs.

Coach Fine has been working closely with Seven Hills, formerly The Homestead Group, as well as the Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Rhode Island for the last several years and Saturday's turnout was one of the best ever.

Members of the Bulldogs worked with nearly 50 young kids and young adults with various stations, including passing, blocking, agility, and kicking.  The participants were treated to pizza and soft drinks in the team's locker room and helped lead the football team through the stadium tunnel and onto the field for kickoff of the annual spring game.

Seven Hills is a comprehensive social and human service organization supporting more than 1,000 children and adults with various disabilities throughout Rhode Island.  Seven Hills Rhode Island has more than 50 years' of experience providing a wide range of supports including: developmental, day habilitative; rehabilitative; behavioral health; residential supports; vocational; recreational and other services.
