As a junior: Solidified himself as one of the best defensive players in the Northeast Conference in 2013 ... Started all 12 games for the Black and Gold on the defensive line ... Exceeded his output from a year ago to produce a record-breaking junior campaign ... Finished the year with 55 tackles, 20.5 tackles for a loss and 10 sacks ... Forced two fumbles, recovered another and blocked a kick ... Set a program record for tackles for a loss in a season and broke school record for tackles for a loss in a career with 43.0 ... Led the NEC in tackles for a loss and sacks, ranking third and ninth nationally, respectively ... Recorded six tackles, including his first sack, in week two against Assumption (Sept. 7) ... As a sophomore: Matched and exceeded his efforts as a freshman, recording one of the finest seasons for a defensive player in program history ... Appeared in all 11 games, starting all 11 for the Black and Gold in 2012 ... Named First Team All-NEC and to the New England Football Writers All-New England Team after collecting 58 tackles, 17 for a loss and 8 sacks ... His 17 tackles for a loss led the NEC and New England, and were 11th amongst all FCS players ... They also were the second-most in a single season in program history ... Recorded a sack eight of the 11 games he participated in ... Had a career-day against Central Connecticut (Nov. 10), collecting a career-high 12 tackles, including a program-record five for a loss ... Named the  College Football Performance Awards National Defensive Performer of the Week and the CFPA Defensive Lineman Performer of the Week ... Recorded seven tackles, including two sacks in season-finale against Bucknell ... In final three games, registered 3.5 sacks and nine tackles for a loss ... Had five tackles and forced a fumble against Saint Francis (PA) (Sept. 8) ... Recorded six tackles, including 1.5 sacks on national TV at home vs. Albany (Oct. 6) ... Collected eight tackles, three for a loss, in season-opener vs. Marist (Sept. 1).

As a freshman: Appeared in all 11 games in his first season in Smithfield ... Emerged as a key component of the Bulldogs defense ... Finished with 19 tackles, 3.5 sacks and eight tackles for a loss ... Recorded a sack in three-straight games beginning Oct. 22 and ending Nov. 12 ... Registered a season-best two sacks vs. Saint Francis (PA) on Nov. 12, with his second sack sealing the Bulldogs victory ... Also had a season-best five tackles in that game vs. the Red Flash ... Collected a tackle in 10 of the 11 games he competed in.

Before Bryant:  Three-year starting defensive end and long snapper for Coach John Fiore at Reading Memorial High School … Team posted a 36-2 record during those three season, winning the state championship as a junior in 2009 and reaching the finals again in 2010 ...
