Constant earns third NEC Special Teams Player of the Week honor

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University football redshirt junior Jean Constant (Delray Beach, Fla.) has been named the Northeast Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for the second-straight week on Monday.

Constant picks up the honor after posting 191 kick return yards, including a tie-breaking 88-yard kick return score, in Bryant's victory over Howard on Saturday. He finished the game with 246 all-purpose yards.

After Howard tied the game 49-49 with 4:50 left, Constant scooped up a squib kick at his own 12 yard line and began up field. He back towards the sideline at the Bryant 40 and then raced down the Bison sideline to the endzone.

Constant is now tied for the national lead with a program-record three kick return scores and is first nationally with an 39.1 kick return average. He has returned just 16 kicks this season but is 17th nationally in return yards.

In addition, redshirt senior Price Wilson (Marietta, Ga.) was named an NEC Prime Performer after he completed 27 passes for 298 yards and two touchdowns in his final game in the Black and Gold.
