Football signs three, completes signing class

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University football head coach Chris Merritt is excited to announce the final three members of the Class of 2023 that will join the Bulldogs next fall.

These three student-athletes will join the 15 that were announced in December. The Class of 2023 includes student-athletes from six different states, including 12 from New England. There is two quarterbacks, three running backs, three wide receivers, five offensive linemen, one defensive lineman, two linebackers and one defensive back.

"We're excited to have these three student-athletes join us," Merritt said. "Kory is a QB from Ohio State that has three years left, answers a big need for us at QB and will come in and compete right away. He's very physically impressive and has been coached at a high level. Our two seniors are Anthony and Carson. Anthony is a sub-11 second 100-yard runner that gives us needed team speed and could become a deep threat option early in his career. Carson is a very athletic offensive lineman that will add to the other four we signed in December, giving us needed depth at the position. This group completes our class and we have two on campus with Kory and Tyler Llewellyn. We're excited to welcome the other 16 in August for what we feel will be a solid 2019 recruiting class."
