Football announces 2021 game with FBS member Akron
SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University football team has announced that it will play its second game against a Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) member when it travels to Akron in 2021.
Bryant will head to Akron, Ohio, on September 18, 2021. The Zips are a member of the Mid-American Conference (MAC). Akron went 4-8 overall and 2-6 in the MAC in 2018.
Last September, Bryant announced that it will visit FBS member Central Michigan in 2020, it's first-ever game against a school from college football's highest level.
Bryant will play a 12-game schedule in 2019, beginning with a trip to Stony Brook on August 29. The Bulldogs will play their first of six home games against Fordham on Sept. 14.
