Coach Merritt's Comments

"This is not a go back to the drawing board situation. We have to continue to get better. The score doesn't reflect it but we were able to do some things offensively today and get better. Defensively, we can't give up the big play. Winning is a habit and so is losing and we want to break that habit."

  • The Great Danes pushed their lead to 38-0 on a nine-yard TD run by Undercuffler and a 24-yard field goal.
  • Bryant got on the board with a 32-yard field goal from Samperi in the fourth quarter. The field goal was set up by a 37-yard pass play from junior Kory Curtis (Cape Coral, Fla.) to freshman Anthony Frederick (Hollywood, Fla.).
