Eckhaus named Big South-OVC Offensive Player of the Week

BRENTWOOD, TENN. - Zevi Eckhaus of the Bryant University football team was named the Big South-OVC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season by the organization on Monday morning.

Eckhaus had a season-high 338 yards through the air and four touchdowns in the 47-24 road victory at Charleston Southern. He is now 36 yards away (7,428) from becoming the all-time leader in passing yards and has tallied 61 TDs in his career, which is nine away from tying the all-time leader (Dalton Easton).

This was the fifth time in Eckhaus's career that he has thrown for four TDs. The Bulldogs return home for Family & Friends this weekend against Gardner-Webb with a 1 p.m. kick-off.
