Eckhaus named FCS and Big South-OVC Offensive Player of the Week
BRENTWOOD, TENN. - Zevi Eckhaus of the Bryant University football team was named the FCS Offensive Player of the Week and the Big South-OVC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday morning by the organizations.
Eckhaus dominated on Saturday, throwing six touchdowns for 394 yards with a completion percentage of 78.6% (22-28).
His six touchdowns tie the single-game record, and he finishes the year with 28 TDs, which also ties the season program record.
Eckhaus finished the year throwing 300+ and at least four TDs in the last four games of the season. In conference play, he averaged 315 ypg, and threw 22 touchdowns and only three interceptions, while recording a completion percentage of 66.1%.
This is the first time Eckhaus has been named FCS Offensive Player of the Week, and his third Big South-OVC Offensive Player of the Week this year.
