Khalil Paden begins his second season as an assistant wide receivers coach in 2023.

 Paden assisted in having Matthew Prochaska and Anthony Frederick earn spots on the Big South-OVC second-team All-Conference. The Bulldogs had a lethal aerial attack, averaging 267.9 ypg through the air, which was first in the conference. 

Paden was able to make an immediate impact in his first season, helping Bryant produce one of the most feared passing attacks in the country. Bryant's receivers posted 205 receptions for 2,826 yards and 20 touchdowns. Landon Ruggieri and Anthony Frederick combined for one of the greatest seasons in program history for a duo. They finished with a combined 1,640 yards on 104 receptions, with Ruggieri posting a single-season record 65 catches. Ruggieri was named a First Team All-Big South and All-New England selection, while Frederick went on to earn All-America honors as a return specialist.
