The loss is the first of the season for the Black and Gold.

- After having a goal disallowed earlier in the third quarter, Providence was able to take the lead in the 42nd minute.
- Lisa McNamara dribbled into the circle and fired a shot that found its way through traffic and into the back of the cage.
