Bryant faces Manhattan Sunday in the Bronx

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's basketball team wraps up its weekend with Sunday afternoon matchup with Manhattan. Tip is set for 2:00 p.m. at Draddy Gymnasium in The Bronx, N.Y.

Sunday's game will be streamed on ESPN+. Bryant is also hosting a pregame brunch in honor of the late Fred Grasso, the father of Bryant head coach Jared Grasso. For more information, click here.

THE SERIES
Bryant and Manhattan will be meeting for the first time in program history on Sunday. 

BRYANT TIES THREE POINT RECORD
The Bulldogs tied the DI single-game program record with 17 three-point field goals on Friday vs Stony Brook. The mark had been first set on Jan. 22, 2011 at Monmouth. Bryant had four players hit multiple threes, led by six from Charles Pride.

SGB POSTS FIRST DOUBLE-DOUBLE
Sherif Gross-Bullock recorded his first-career double-double on Friday. He finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds. SGB scored 19 of his 21 points in the second half after battling foul trouble in the first 20 minutes.     

FIVE MORE THINGS TO KNOW

  1. Bryant is 7-3 on the year following Friday's 79-60 victory over Stony Brook.   
  2. Earl Timberlake has scored in double figures in all eight games he's appeared this season and is currently averaging 15.1 ppg and 8.1 rpg. He has missed the last two games.  
  3. Sherif Gross-Bullock enters Friday averaging 15.8 ppg, 4.5 rpg and 4.1 apg. He has scored in double figures in all 10 games. SGB is the only player in the America East averaging 15.0/4.0/4.0.
  4. Charles Pride leads the Bulldogs with 16.7 ppg after posting his fourth 20-point game of the season on Friday. He now has 19 20-point games in his career. Pride's six three-pointers were a season high.
  5. Tyler Brelsford played a season-high 28 minutes on Friday, finishing with 8 points and six assists.
