Bryant hits road Sunday to face UMass Lowell

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's basketball team hits the road on Sunday to face UMass Lowell. Tip is set for 1:02 p.m.

Sunday's game will be streamed on ESPN+. It will feature two teams that are tied for second in the America East at 4-2.

THE SERIES
Bryant and UML are renewing an old NE-10 rivalry on Sunday. The Bulldogs own a 19-17 lead in the series that dates back to 1977. Bryant has won each of the previous four meetings, with the last coming in 2008.

WELCOME TO THE AMERICA EAST
Bryant is 4-2 in America East play this season. The Bulldogs are tied with UML for second in the standings at 4-2, a half game behind Binghamton (4-1).  

SGB TAKING OVER
Sherif Gross-Bullock has posted back-to-back 20-point games, scoring 28 at UNH last Saturday and 26 against NJIT on Thursday. He now has seven 20-point games on the season and leads the America East with 17.4 ppg.

WELCOME BACK KVONN
Kvonn Cramer returned to the Bryant lineup on Jan. 19 against NJIT after missing 10 games. He produced five points, three rebounds and three blocks. Cramer's two field goals were thunderous dunks. 

FIVE MORE THINGS TO KNOW

  1. Bryant is 13-6 overall and 4-2 in league play following an 87-75 victory over NJIT. Bryant has won three-straight games entering Sunday.    
  2. Sherif Gross-Bullock leads all America East players with 20.2 ppg in AE-only games. He has produced three 20-point outings in six games.
  3. Earl Timberlake ranks 9th in the America East in scoring and second in rebounding entering Sunday. He leads the league with 9.3 rpg in AE-only games. Timberlake posted 19 pts and 8 reb on Thursday.    
  4. Charles Pride ranks fourth in the league with 14.8 ppg and leads the America East from the free throw line, making 86.3 percent of his shots.   
  5. Miles Latimer is averaging 7.8 ppg and 5.0 rpg over his last three games, all starts. He made 3-of-7 from beyond the arc on Thursday vs NJIT.
