Bryant hosts Vermont on Saturday at the Chace

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's basketball team hosts Vermont on Saturday afternoon at the Chace Athletic Center. Tip is set for 4:02 p.m.

Saturday marks the final regular season home game for the Bulldogs. Bryant will honor six members of its program prior to the game.

THE SERIES
Vermont holds a 2-1 lead in the all-time series following a 74-64 victory in the first meeting on Jan. 5. The Catamounts jumped out to a early first half lead and then hit key threes down the stretch to hold on.

WELCOME TO THE AMERICA EAST
Bryant is 8-6 in America East play this season. The Bulldogs are 5-2 at home and 3-4 on the road in league play. Bryant has two games remaining in the league slate and is currently tied with Binghamton and New Hampshire for third. Vermont sits in first at 12-2, while UML is in second at 10-5. The top four teams host quarterfinal-round games on March 4. 

EARL GOES OFF
Earl Timberlake became the first player in DI program history to finish with 20+ points, 7+ rebounds, 4+ assists and 2+ blocks in a game when he recorded 23-7-4-2 on Wednesday at NJIT.  

FIVE MORE THINGS TO KNOW

  1. Bryant is 17-10 overall and 8-6 in league play following a 79-78 win at NJIT on Wednesday.    
  2. Earl Timberlake ranks 10th in the America East in scoring and third in rebounding entering Saturday. Timberlake tied his career high with 23 points on Wednesday..
  3. Charles Pride currently ranks fifth in the league in scoring with 15.1 ppg. He's reached a career milestone on Wednesday, becoming the 11th player in program history to score 1,500 point.    
  4. Tyler Brelsford posted a season-high 14 points and hit a career-high four threes on Wednesday at NJIT. 
  5. Kvonn Cramer had an all-around game on Wednesday, posting eight points, nine rebounds and three blocks.
