Bryant hosts Sacred Heart on Saturday

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's lacrosse team welcomes Sacred Heart to Beirne Stadium this afternoon. Faceoff is set for 12:00 p.m.

THE SERIES
Bryant is 13-1 all-time against Sacred Heart following a 20-12 victory last season in Fairfield.    

SCOUTING SACRED HEART
Sacred Heart is 3-7 overall and 1-3 in the NEC entering Saturday. The Pioneers started strong, dowing Hobart in overtime to open league play but have lost three-straight. Sal Miccio and Morgan O'Reilly are both 30-point scorers, entering Saturday with 33 and 32, respectively.    

BRYANT NOTES AND NOTABLES

  • The Bulldogs are 5-5 overall and 3-1 in the NEC following an 11-10 loss at Saint Joseph's last Saturday. 
  • Marc O'Rourke (26-10-36), Logan McGovern (10-21-31) and Bennett Abladian (27-2-29) pace the Bryant offense. Abladian has registered six hat tricks this year and has scored 14 goals over the last four games. 
  • O'Rourke enters the day just five points shy of becoming only the second player in DI program history with 200+ career points.
  • Aidan Goltz led the Bulldogs last week with four four points on three goals and an assist.
