Bulldogs face Leopards in home opener Sunday at 1 p.m.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's soccer team faces off against Lafayette Sunday afternoon in Smithfield.

The Bulldogs (0-2) will appear in Smithfield for the 2015 home opener, looking for their first win of the season against the Leopards (2-0-1).

The last time the two teams met was in 2013 in Easton, Pa., resulting in a 2-1 loss for the Bulldogs.

Junior Curtis Orth (Ancaster, Ont.) has been the spark in the Bulldogs' offense, firing off nine shots in two games and tallying an assist against Rhode Island (Sept. 4).

Senior Brett Larocque (Ottawa, Ont.) and forward Sam Trueman (Bristol, England) have each notched a goal for the Bulldogs, totaling two points a piece on the season.

Senior goalie Chris Knaub (Yarmouth, Maine) has seen the majority of the time in net, resulting in five saves in two games.

The Black and Gold will be taking on a versatile Leopards team. The visitors have totaled five goals in three games, coming from five different players. Senior Todd Foster and junior Ben Marks lead Lafayette in points on the year (3).

Leopards' goalkeeper Brad Seeber has prevented five goals, while letting only one through against Cornell on Firday (Sept. 4)
