Bulldogs travel to Burlington to take on Vermont on Sunday at 3 p.m.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – After facing back to back overtime, 3-2, loses, the Bryant University men's soccer team looks to turn the tide, traveling to Burlington to take on Vermont on Sunday at 3 p.m.

The Bulldogs (1-4-2) have played their opponents tight, playing five of seven matches in extra time and scoring eight goals to their adversaries' 11.

The Catamounts (4-3-1) have won their last three games, including a 3-0 victory over UMass Amherst in their latest match.

Vermont is led in their attack by junior Brian Wright with five goals and one assist on the season. Wright has also landed 17 of 23 shots on frame for the Catamounts. Classmate goalkeeper Greg Walton has started all eight games for the Catamounts, tallying 29 saves.

The Bulldogs are led offensively by senior Brett Larocque (Ottawa, Ont.), who has totaled eight points off three goals and two assists. Fellow forward Thomas Binder (Vienna, Austria) has recorded six points off two goals and two assists, with both scores coming in the latest two homes games.

Senior captain Chris Knaub (Yarmouth, Maine) remains in net for the Black and Gold, tallying 21 saves in seven matches.
