Bulldogs force Terriers into 0-0 draw Friday night

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – After a delay for inclement weather, the Bryant University men's soccer team kicked off conference play on the road against St. Francis Brooklyn on Friday night, resulting in a 0-0 draw.

The Bulldogs (2-5-3, 0-0-1) struggled offensively against the Terriers (7-1-3, 0-0-1), placing only one shot on goal, but it was the team's defensive effort that kept them in the match. The Black and Gold fended off 10 opponent corner kicks, while also earning 10 of their own.

Sophomore Jason Norat (Wilmington, Del.) notched the Bulldogs' lone shot on frame.

The Terriers fired off 17 shots, but senior keeper Chris Knaub (Yarmouth, Maine) was there to save all six of their attempts on net.

The Black and Gold return to the pitch on Sunday at 1 p.m., when they take on LIU Brooklyn.
