Bulldogs to face LIU tomorrow in NEC Semifinals

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. - The Bryant University men's soccer team is set to face the Sharks of Long Island tomorrow in the Northeast Conference semifinals. The kick-off will be at 1:00 p.m.

• The Bulldogs are 3-8-3 all-time against the Sharks. Bryant fell to LIU 2-1 this season on the road.

• Diego Rodriguez was named to the All-NEC second team. Rodrguez recorded two goals and four assists this season.
• Samuel D'Agoatino earned All-NEC second-team honors for the first time in his career.
• Digger Iqbal received the honor of the NEC All-Rookie team. Iqbal played in 11 games and made six starts.
• Ben Williams leads the team in goals and points with seven and 15 respectively.
• The Black and Gold return to the playoffs after missing the tournament last season.
• Bryant made the playoffs in 2019 and fell to LIU 4-0 in the NEC semifinal.
• The Black and Gold are looking to make the NEC Championship for the third time in DI program history.

• LIU finished with an 11-4-2 overall record and a 7-2 conference record.
• Demetri Skoumbakis was named the NEC Goalkeeper of the Year.
• Emil Jaaskelainen, Andre Puente, and Skoumbakis received the honor of the All-NEC first team.
• Last year the Sharks fell to SFBK in the championship in penalty kicks.
