Day one complete at Terrier Invite

Bulldogs post strong finishes on day one of Terrier Invitational

BOSTON, Mass. – The Bryant University men's swimming team had several strong finishes during the first day of the Terrier Invitational hosted by Boston University. The three-day meet continues today and tomorrow.

The Bulldog relay teams had strong showings during the first day as the 200 medley relay finished eighth with a time of 1:27.36 and the 400 medley relay team touched the wall 11^th with a time of 3:32.95.

Individually, Alex Kosenski's (Lavallette, N.J.) season-best time of 21.45 placed him 10^th in the 50 free. Tim McGrath (Hyannis, Mass.) also registered a season-best time, finishing 11^th in the 200 IM. His time of 1:57.77 was nearly six seconds quicker than his previous best.

Saturday's events include the 400 IM, 100 fly, 200 free, 100 breast, 100 back and 800 free relay. The meet is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. and will last all day.
