  • No. 2 – Jorge Ortiz-Garcia (Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico) and younger brother Jorge Isaias Ortiz-Garica (Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico) earned a commanding 6-1 victory.
  • No. 3 – Senior Luke Lorenz (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and freshman Grant Pertile (Edgartown, Mass.) completed a doubles sweep with a 6-4 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED (SINGLES)

  • No. 1 – Kuhar ran his win streak to seven with a 6-0, 6-1 victory.
  • No. 2 – Lorenz battled to a 7-5 victory in the first set before closing with a 6-4 win.
  • No. 3 – Freshman Wilson Dong (Bradenton, Fla.) continued his strong stretch with a 6-4, 6-1 victory.
  • No. 4 – Jakubowski was tested, winning 7-5, 7-6.
  • No. 5 – Ortiz-Garcia cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 victory.
  • No. 6 – Freshman Trent Massam (Wellington, New Zealand) completed a perfect day for the Bulldogs with a 6-2, 6-2 victory.
