Busby and Monteiro finish strong at NEs

BOSTON, Mass. – Seniors Anthony Monteiro (Leominster, Mass.) and Ryan Busby (Derry, N.H.) wrapped up their indoor track and field careers representing the Bryant University track and field teams at the New England Championships on Saturday at the Track and Tennis Center on the campus of Boston University.

Advancing to the semi-finals in the 60m hurdles on Friday, Monteiro finished 10^th with a time of 8.47, missing out on breaking his own program record by three hundredths of a second. Busby closed out his career in the 3000, finishing 16^th with a time of 8:40.33.

The Bulldogs are next in action as a team on March 24 at the Husky Spring Opener at Northeastern.
