SMITHFIELD, R.I.- The Bryant women's lacrosse team returns home this Tuesday to take on Brown at Beirne Stadium. The Bulldogs and Bears will be competing in the 12th Ocean State Cup.
Bryant is coming off a four game road trip that saw them go 2-2 with wins over Quinnipiac and LIU. They most recently fell 17-7 in the America East opener at Vermont.

Skylar Simmonds netted her third straight hat trick on Saturday against Vermont. She's now averaging 3.14 goals per game this season, the fourth most in the America East.

The Bulldogs have four of the top seven points scorers in the conference in Kenna Kaut (3rd, 4.86/game), Emily Oliver (4th, 4.43), Simmonds (5th, 4.29), and Chamberlaine Bell (7th, 3.57).

Kaut is four goals away from becoming the ninth player in DI program history to reach 100 for her career. Bell is also five assists shy of fourth place in DI program history.

Player to Watch: Senior midfielder Emmie Lau leads the Ivy League with two caused turnovers per game and 2.83 ground balls per game. She's also the team leader with 27 draw controls.

Bryant is 2-11 all-time against Brown, including a 14-11 loss in the season opener last year. Their last win in the series was a 14-13 triumph in 2019 in Providence.
