Bulldogs Rounding Out Non-Conference Slate at Stonehill

EASTON, Mass.- The Bryant women's lacrosse team will conclude its non-conference schedule this Wednesday with an evening matchup against Stonehill in Easton. The Bulldogs and Skyhawks will be facing off for the first time in 15 years as Stonehill contests its first year in Division I.

Bryant is coming off a 16-12 loss to New Hampshire on Saturday that saw them fall to 2-3 in America East play. They are 4-3 in non-conference play this season.

Bulldog Notes and Notables

  • Kenna Kaut netted her 21st career hat trick against UNH. She is one of five players in the nation averaging four or more goals per game, and her 115 career goals are 11 shy of fifth in program history.

  • Emily Oliver ranks third in the America East with 4.50 points per game after a four-point outing on Saturday. She is the only player in the league with at least 25 goals and 25 assists this year.

  • The Bulldogs are 2-0 against the NEC this year with wins over Merrimack and LIU. They have won nine of their last ten regular season games against NEC teams dating back to last season's conference regular season title.

Scouting the Skyhawks

  • Stonehill is 4-9 overall in their first year of Division I play, including a 4-3 mark in the NEC. They have won two in a row, taking down LIU and Howard.

  • Player to Watch: Senior attack Lydia Rudden ranks fourth nationally with 3.15 assists per game. She's totaled 41 helpers to go along with 19 goals on the year.

  • Stonehill won all eight meetings against Bryant during their time in the NE-10. The last meeting finished with an 18-5 score in April 2008.
