Bulldogs fall to Nicholls St. in Southland Championships
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- The eighth-seeded Bryant University women's tennis team fell to ninth-seeded Nicholls St., 4-1, on Thursday afternoon in the first round of the Southland Women's Tennis Championships.
How it Happened
- Bryant got off to a strong start, winning the doubles point with victories at No. 2 and No. 1.
- Caitlyn Munson and Olivia Rondini won at No. 2, while Manuela Gomez Estrada and Camila Baeza won at No. 1.
- In singles, Nicholls St. was able to clinch the match with victories at 5, 1, 3 and 4.
- Natalia Vela won a set before her match went unfinished.
