Wright Leads Bulldogs in Sweep of URI

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I.- The Bryant women's volleyball team got back in the win column with a 3-0 sweep of Rhode Island Tuesday night. The win was the Bulldogs' third in a row over the Rams and second in a week against an in-state opponent.

Alysa Wright led the Bulldogs with ten kills, two block assists, and eleven total points. Fabi Castro had nine kills and two blocks and Aubrey Lapour finished with eight kills, three blocks, and eight digs.

Coach Garlacy's Comments: "What a total team effort tonight. We were gritty on defense and the setters were able to spread the offense out. Alysa, Fabi, and Aubrey led the attack while Abby and Aubrey led the defense. We were able to serve very aggressively tonight which was key."
