Bryant to battle Central Connecticut for second time this season

SMITHFIELD, R.I.- The Bryant women's volleyball team will travel to New Britain on Tuesday to take on Central Connecticut at 7:00 PM in the Detrick Gymnasium.

Series History:

  • Bryant has a 14-17 record against their former NEC rival. The two teams faced off previously this season and saw the Bulldogs win in three sets.

  • Arianna Ugolini ranks 8th in the NCAA for aces this season with 33. Carrina Barron sits at 15th with 31.

  • Aubrey Lapour ranks in the top 30 for the NCAA in kills with 230.

  • Carolina Camacho ranks 1st in the America East with 363 assists this year.

  • Brookelyn Talmadge continues to have an impressive rookie campaign as she remains a top 10 blocker in the conference. (7th with 49).

  • Josie Deluga has posted 240 digs so far this season which is 2nd best in the conference.

 

Scouting the Devils

  • Central Connecticut enters this contest at 2-13 on the year and are 1-3 in conference play.

  • Sophomore Weronika Poczynek leads the team in kills (153) and digs (181) so far this season. 

  • Senior Isabelle Roufs has posted a team leading 52 blocks in 2023

  • Freshman Larissa Hiemer ranks 6th overall in the NEC for assists this year with 336.

  • Junior Lauren Milani leads the Devils with 16 aces so far this season.
