Bulldogs set eight PRs at Holy Cross Invite

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Sophomore Kristen Hayes (Menands, N.Y.) claimed the only first-place and eight others set personal records as the Bryant University track and field team competed at the Holy Cross Invitational on Saturday.

The Bulldogs finished fifth in both the men's and women's standings with 78 and 42 points, respectively.

Hayes won the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:04.71 and also added a fifth-place finish in the 100m dash with a time of 12.47 to highlight her day.

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior Katelyn Kelleher (Wrentham, Mass.) set a PR in the hammer with a distance of 46.94m, finishing second. She also finished fourth in the discus (38.26m).

Freshman Jonee Harrison (Dorchester, Mass.) also set a PR in the hammer with a distance of 40.30m, finishing sixth.

Junior Brooke Tomasetti (Waterford, Conn.) set a PR in the 1500 with a time of 4:54.88.

Senior Martha Reynolds (London, England) finished third in the 1500 with a time of 4:46.58.

Sophomore Annmarie Tuxbury (New Hartford, Conn.) finished fifth in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:34.27.

Sophomore Brittany Sarza (Uxbridge, Mass.) added an eighth-place finish in the 5000 with a time of 19:05.12.

Senior Nick Todamn (Danbury, Conn.) set a PR in the hammer with a throw of 50.76m, finishing third. He also finished seventh in the discus with a throw of 39.09m.

Junior Peter Alie (Stoneham, Mass.) had a strong day in the jumps, finishing third in the high jump (1.83m) and fifth in the triple jump (12.68m).

Kevin Louine(Mattapan, Mass.) finished seventh in the 100 (11.10) and eighth in the 200 (23.60).

Kyle Reid (North Raynham, Mass.) and Nicholas Douglas (Shelton, Conn.) finished 4-5 in the 400 with times of 50.12 and 50.13.

Freshman Antonio Siracusa (Bridgewater, Mass.) set a PR in the 400 with a time of 50.76. He finished 10th.

Francis Foley (Acton, Mass.) and Richard Landry (Holyoke, Mass.) both set PRs in the 1500, finishing with times of 4:04.85 and 4:05.44, respectively.

Christopher Chapruet (Danvers, Mass.) finished seventh in the 5000 with a time of 15:19.10.

Ronald Hill (New Bedford, Mass.) finished eighth in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.76.

Hayes Watson (Glastonbury, Conn.) finished third in the pole vault with a height of 4.10m.

Ademitokunbo Oremule (Mansfield, Conn.) finished fourth in the long jump with a distance of 6.03m.

Adam Malone (Speonk, N.Y.) finished third in the triple jump with a distance of 13.45m.

Brian Sullivan (Hingham, Mass.) finished fourth in the discus with a throw of 43.62m.

Joseph Schwab set a PR in the javelin with a throw of 54.43m, finishing third.

The men's 4x100 relay team finished second with a time of 42.62.
