Track and Field Athletes Competing in ECAC/I4CA Meet This Weekend

BOSTON, MA- Sixteen Bryant track and field athletes will ship up to Boston this weekend to compete in the ECAC/IC4A Invitational on the campus of Boston University. The Bulldogs will have seven NEC medalists representing them at the two day event.

Bulldog Notes and Notables

  • NEC gold medalists Lois Warden, Emma Garrity, and William Remkiewicz will all be in action in their winning events. Warden will be in the pole vault, Garrity in the 500 meters, and Remkiewicz in the 400.

  • Conference silver medalist Andrew Canale will be competing in the 200 and 400 meters this weekend. He and Remkiewicz took home a 1-2 finish in the 400 at the NEC's.

  • Savannah Pineda and Nicole Xiarhos will both be competing in the individual 400 meters after winning bronze in the 4x400 relay at the NEC Championships.

  • Aidan Hickey has momentum competing in the 800 meters after winning bronze in the event at the NEC championships.

  • School record holders Lily Lagoy (shot put) and Jasmine Hope (long jump) will also look to improve on their performances in their respective events this weekend.
