Bulldogs Place Fourth, Sixth at America East Championships
ALBANY, N.Y.- The Bryant track and field teams won three more individual titles and eight more medals on Day 2 of the America East Outdoor Championships, taking home fourth and sixth place finishes overall.
John Bruder and Kasey Thomas swept the shot put golds, with Mike Marshall, Jr. taking first in the high jump. Grace Yost, Emma Garrity, and the women's 4x100, men's 4x400, and men's 4x800 relay teams all brought home medals. Yost was also named the America East Women's Elite 18 Award winner for athletic and academic achievement.

Bruder won the shot put with a throw of 17.22 meters. He currently ranks fifth in the NCAA Northeast Region in the event.

Thomas won the shot put by .05 meters, throwing a best of 14.27. She ranks eighth in the region.

Marshall won the high jump in a jump-off over New Hampshire's Kevin McGrath. His top height of 2.07 meters is a school record and ranks him fifth in the Northeast.

Yost won silver in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.36. Her time is 16th best in the region.

Garrity won bronze in the 800 meters with a new school record, breaking her own school record of 2:11.06.

The women's 4x100 relay team of Ana Bertarelli, Jasmine Hope, Savannah Pineda, and Patricia Adesanya won bronze with a time of 47.26.

The men's 4x800 team of Tobias Ruffo, Justin Shiffrin, Luke Silva, and Nolan Hickey took bronze with a time of 7:40.78, a new program record.

The men's 4x400 team of Ethan Ferraiola, Vincent Sivo, Sam Rebello, and Will Remkiewicz took bronze with a time of 3:14.95

Abby Hamilton (1500m), Savannah Pineda and Will Remkiewicz (400m), Kevin Aroke (110m hurdles), Jasmine Hope (100m), Shelby DeGrenier and Ethan Ferraiola (400m hurdles), Jasmine Trott (5k), Grant Dubiel (shot put), Kevin Cavrell and Edward Cardarelli (decathlon) and Maggie Fodera (heptathlon) all scored points for the Bulldogs on Sunday.
