Bulldogs open conference play with Pioneers and Seahawks this weekend

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Coming off a double overtime draw against Brown, the Bryant University women's soccer team kicks off conference play with Sacred Heart on Friday at 3:00 p.m. and Wagner on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

The Bulldogs (1-8-1) finish their three-game week by hosting the Pioneers (3-6-0) and the Seahawks (1-8-1), marking only their third and fourth game of the season in Smithfield.

Sophomore Haley Reddish (Natick, Mass.) leads the Black and Gold offensively with 10 of 22 shots on goal, including one score in the first ten games of the season.

In the last match, junior Kaylan Conrad (Avon, Conn.) played all 90 minutes for the Bulldogs, adding to her 31 total saves and recording her first shut out of the year.

The Pioneers are led by Dana Cosmedy and Alex Mesropyan, who have each tallied eight points off four goals apiece. Senior goalie Talia Schwartz has started all nine games for Sacred Heart, logging 48 saves and 25 goals against.

Megan Fritz tops the Seahawks' charts offensively, notching three of four shots on goal and one assist. Keeper Kaitli Flaherty has played the majority of time in net for the Seahawks, recording 26 saves off 35 opponent attempts.
